”A Moment to Reflect”

For the second collaboration between Lululemon and renowned designer Robert Geller, I crafted the art direction to echo the collection’s themes of versatility and reflection. Drawing inspiration from the brushstroke-inspired camouflage print and rich textures, I chose Death Valley National Park’s Artist Palette as the shoot location—a vivid, otherworldly landscape that perfectly mirrored the collection’s striking colors and natural-meets-urban ethos.

The environment played a pivotal role in storytelling, with the shifting hues of the terrain acting as both a canvas and a contrast to the collection’s dynamic details like reflective taping and innovative layering. The shoot emphasized moments of quiet introspection amidst expansive vistas, aligning with the collection’s narrative of seamless transitions between city life and nature.

Every frame was carefully composed to highlight the interplay of functionality and artistry, focusing on textures, movement, and the harmony of bold design against the rugged backdrop. The art direction ultimately brought to life the duality of this capsule: performance-driven clothing that inspires connection to both the natural world and the demands of modern living.
